Brookings-Harbor

Located on the Oregon Coast and California/Oregon border, Brookings-Harbor is nestled amongst some of the most scenic coastline in the world!  Our area offers more than just breaktaking surroundings, but an incomparable quality of life.

Brookings-Harbor is pleasantly isolated from the hustle and bustle of the big city, yet close enough to partake in the opportunities offered by the outside world. With a population of around 14,000 people, the Brookings-Harbor area is the most populous region for a hundred miles in every direction and serves as a hub for business, retail, and financial services on the Southern Oregon Coast. Interstate 5, which is the major north-south highway of the western part of the nation, is 100 miles away. We are also less than 100 miles either direction from two international airports.

The Brookings-Harbor area is spread over a 15-mile long bench of land that is bordered by the Pacific Ocean to the west, alifornia's Del Norte County to the south, Siskiyou National Forest on the east, and the Cape Sebastian Headlands on the north. Our area's rainfall averages around 74 inches per year and usually occurs during the months of November and April.  Due to our south-facing location, we are subject to mild weather that is considered unseasonably warm for the Oregon Coast - we can reach 80 degree Fahrenheit temperatures any month of the year! Nicknamed Oregon's Banana Belt, our area's weather is the envy of the Oregon Coast.

For a tour of our idyllic coastal town, or should you like additional information on the Brookings-Harbor community, please feel free to contact me. I would be more than happy to show you why I proudly call the Brookings-Harbor area my home for nearly 28 years!
